Preparing

Now that we're officially in the third trimester, things are moving right along.  We have the baby room painted and all the furniture is assembled (by yours truly).  We have also taken two classes so far - one for birth preparation and one for newborn care.  And there are still more classes to take!  New dads bootcamp is on my calendar, along with car seat safety, breastfeeding (not sure how much of that I will be doing) and a tour of the hospital.  Whew!  Combined with visits from the in-laws, baby showers and trips to Nebraska, we are running a very full schedule and the baby hasn't even come yet.

Of course, it's not all work - we are going to get out of town for a quick babymoon the first weekend of April.  A nice romantic weekend in Estes Park is just what the doctor ordered.  Plus, I get to go golfing during the baby shower, so I can't complain too much.

Life is good.  :)

  1. This baby is soooo taken care of at this point...I am doubly sure that he will be amazingly taken care of when he officially arrives! Kudos to you Bobbi and Leif for such a fantastic preparation for the little one!
